What is white lantern?

The White Lantern Corps is a fictional organization appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. It was created by writer Geoff Johns and artist Ivan Reis and first appeared in the "Brightest Day" series in 2010.

The White Lanterns are considered the most powerful of all the Lantern Corps, as they harness the power of the White Light of creation, which is composed of the combined power of all seven colors of the emotional spectrum. The White Lantern ring has the ability to heal, resurrect the dead, and cleanse corruption.

The first White Lantern was Kyle Rayner, a former Green Lantern who was chosen by the Entity, the embodiment of the White Light, to become its champion. Other characters such as Hal Jordan, Sinestro, and Batman have also temporarily wielded the power of the White Lantern.

The White Lantern Corps is unique in that its members do not wear traditional lantern uniforms but instead wear white-themed costumes that are an amalgamation of all the colors of the emotional spectrum.

Overall, the White Lantern Corps represents hope, unity, and the potential for rebirth and redemption. They play a significant role in the DC Comics universe, often intervening in major cosmic events to bring balance and harmony to the emotional spectrum.
